    Hi guys, Ive just put a new top end on my 125 exc, went to adjust the power valve to see it not moving the control arm. I took the inner clutch casing off to find loose ball bearings off the screw. Would it be as straight forward as to push the screw (with the new bearings) over the timer? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Attachment 37741

    Your link is broke, but if the balls came off the ramp it's not hard to repair. The whole timer comes apart about as simply as it looks- as I recall with the timer removed, remove the adjuster nut and the bolt that's recessed into the aluminum adjustment nut. There's a captured circlip or retaining washer that fits in a groove on the shaft, ultimately holding the ramp-portions in place. Compress the spring a bit and it's apparent. On reassembly just make sure those balls are each on their individual ramps.
