Wish I had read that before I just went out to the garage! played around etc and found like many others I can now turn the adjuster with the 4Oclock bolt tight! TBH I was quite happy with the way it rode but thought would be good to have a look to see if it could be improved (wish I hadn't bother touching)

so any old oring, cut it and stuff it in basicly and hop its ok! At least I counted how many turns in to fully seated so can return to where it was once I sort the 4oclock bolt!

Thanks very much for everyones help I really appreciate it!

Hey guys. I have a question that I couldn't find an answer to in this thread. I just bought a 2013 150sx. I was out in the woods and it was impossible to ride. Zero bottom then hit like a freight train. Total light switch power. So I started thinking my PV was stuck open. i did my research and pulled the pipe and opened both windows on either side of the cylinder. I could see that on the clutch side of the motor my fork and ball are not connected. I was told that you can get them connected if you play around with the adjuster knob. I couldn't. Do I truely have to pull the cylinder to realign them or is there a trick to getting them back together?

    Thanks for the help.

I read this post. Decided to check out my settings. Previous owner had it set really low. Adjusted it
a little lower then the langston setting. Man what a world of difference. It doest hit the PV until later in the revs. Comes on quick and hits pretty hard. But it makes the slow technical stuff way easier to manage.

Hi could anyone help me with this. The bolt that locks the threaded adjuster doesn't seem to work. With the bolt tightened up, the adjuster can still be turned by hand. I took out the bolt. It's not long. What else goes in there to secure the adjuster. Thanks - pic attached

arjay125- that bolt needs the 'piece of o-ring' that's been mentioned above. Any piece of o-ring will work as long as it's a smaller diameter than the bolt hole, obviously. It doesn't take much length, and a word of caution: too long of an o-ring chunk can crack the clutch cover. I put in a piece, maybe a 1/4" long, and snugged the bolt. As I got it to snug the case cracked from the bolt boss down to the PV adjuster hole. My advice: use a shorter piece of o-ring than needed and go longer until your PV adjuster is held in place. Kyle

After seemingly tackling a new Keihin and getting that dialed in, I thought Id take a look at my PV. As I suspected, it was set very high, made for an electric power delivery in the woods, but since I had everything open, I adjusted it down towards the supertrunk setting. Excited to test ride it and tune to what I like.

Holy buckets. Dramatic change in power delivery. Think I may have went too far! Lol going on a little Trail ride Sunday, might be dialing it back (or embracing it). Went from geriatric to ADHD
