I used to get arm pumps so bad I could not move my fingers for the levers. Here's what help me, I got BRP with red damping, mini high rise 671 CR bend with my levers pointed down enough for standing and sitting also use hammer heed in my drink system. This have helped me a lot. Relax and Breath while riding or racing is the biggest thing. Everyone is different. For grips, I like used up worn ( not have hole or tear).

Also gloves that are not too tight, as they slow circulation in the hands. Not easy to find in todays small-size glove market. Cam.
