Default Mushy Magura Front Brake 19 TE300i

Hey there, I wanted to see if anyone else has experienced a lot of free play in there front brake with the newer Huskys with Magura brakes? I have a 2019 TE300i and no matter what bleeding procedure, vacuum or syringe from the bottom, lever to the bar overnight, after riding or sitting a bit it always go back to being mushy and I have to just about pull the lever all the way in where it contacts my other fingers before I get it to really bite. I will say I have small hands so I have to run the lever in the minimum reach position but its not like our stock levers have a bite point adjustment anyways. Thanks

The old RFS had the same problem. We turned the bars to the left and made sure the line was lower than the MC. Bunged the lever to the grip over night then let it go suddenly. The air sucked into the MC.

you will get lots of solutions, such as compressing the brake pad pistons, zip tying the front brake lever to the handlebar, etc. Some have put a late model Nissin MC(CRF) on as well.

Compressing the brake pad pistons always worked for me. Bungy around brake lever and grip with the master cylinder as high as possible also works.

I used a pressure bleeder (pushed it up from the caliper to let it overflow from the master (into a bucket). Worked great. 2019 fx450. ( I put on a longer front brake hose)

I tried everything on my 18 FX450 . I decided that the Magura brakes are junk. I also had my Magura slave seal crap the bed at 9 hrs. So needless to say, I have a pretty sour taste in my mouth from anything Magura.
