Have you swapped the Sparkplug out with a known good bike or installed new. It takes a richer mixture to ignite combustion if the gap is too big or marginal plug

Ok back at it swapped the coil, wire, cap and plug with new ones I had for my other bike, starts great on choke. I canít get it to run otherwise. Having trouble with the float level, doing the parallel to base or 8mm at a 60degree angle doesnít even let fuel in the bowl. So is this fuel level in the drain tube looped up close to right in this picture? My 565 runs with the fuel around this level but something is funky in this carb and I canít get it higher.

19 inch wheel will be way too stiff, change to 18 inches

I raced a season on a '17 250SX and it was a fantastic bike. Added a flywheel weight, switched to the mild map (disconnect white connector under the tank), re-laced the rear wheel to an 18", skid plate, XC tank, hand guards, re-valved-re-sprung suspension and it was all set. Didn't even add a kickstand as this was just for sprint enduro races and wanted a minimalist setup. Won the '18 C-Open AZ state championship with that bike.
By far the lightest setup you can run which is really nice. Almost wish I had kept it.
My '19 TX 300 is setup fantastic but you can feel the extra 10+ lbs with battery, wiring, starter, 6th gear, kickstand and radiator fan. The bike is awesome for trails and still a weapon for racing however, if I had unlimited funds I would convert an SX bike again as my race-only bike.
