    Get the 2020 300TPI. Latest evolution of the TPI injection, and each year brings significant improvement at this stage in its development. Also the 2020 will probably have better resale that will offset any savings you may get from a last year model rebate.
    No need to consider a 250 unless you are a mad revver. The TPI 300s have super smooth power that suits everyone. It will not wear you out like the old 300s could.

    I was in the same choice dilemma as you 211, but after reading about the updates to the bike, specifically to the fuel map etc, I have decided that 2020 is the way to go. 300 xcw specifically. I have put $500 down to get the first one that comes in to my shop.

    This post maybe a few months old but others may be contemplating the same question being that the 19s are still on the showroom floor. I struggled with my decision as well but ended up going with the 20 model 300 EXCW and I am so happy I did I write a huge variety of train and the extra Sensor makes a difference compared to my buddies 19. The dealer was only a few hundred bucks a part between the 19th and the 20 so it was well worth it for me to get the 20 and I couldnít be happier. By the way this is my first Two strokes and is coming off a YZ 250 and a CR 500. Since then Iíve been riding big bore KTM four strokes in this bike has made riding so much more enjoyable and a lot of fun. Go with the 20 go with the 300 and donít worry about the low first gear itís not true it works great especially for the gnarly riding I like to do

    I have 2020 300xc coming off 2018 300xc was very skeptical of the tpi Iím a woods rider an with the tpi hard to choke down bike pulls smooth from low rpm
