Going to be installing this kit next week, tossing up whether to hand bleed it, or just pay someone to vacuum bleed and charge it. For those of you who hand bled it, was it hard to do or better off just getting it done professionally?

The 1.5 piston design on the new PDS shocks bleeds just like a single piston linkage shock because there is no area between the pistons to trap air. I have hand bled several with no problems.

I just ordered this PDS upgrade kit, let's see how long shipping takes. After paypal takes their cut on currency exchange, the total with shipping was $181.85USD.

I also emailed Martin at N10z to order the eXplor Pro Kit front fork upgrade. I couldn't decide on the fork direction. Probably overspending but gotta spend this gov't check somehow (ha, by buying stuff from Austria and Australia!).

The N10z dynamic shock kit is about $190 more than the Krooztune (basically double). Almost the same difference is fork kits, a little less than double. We'll see how it turns out.

I think your going to be really happy with your choice.

Forks work really really well with the n10z kit.

I'd really like to try Martin's kit for the PDS as well but I'm really happy with the krooztune kit right now in the shock. Are you doing the install ??

Did you bleed through the compression adjuster like some people recommend or just by removing the bleed screw on the shock body? And do you have pressure in the bladder when inserting the seal head?

I bled it like a Japanese shock (or a KTM linkage shock) and verified that I had no air by removing the bleed screw when I was done. Leave the bleed screw at the highest point for a few hours (overnight) then check for air.

So you follow the same procedure as the video rmatv have on you tube to bleed a linkage shock?

Yes, I'm going to tackle it. I don't have a lot of experience with it but have shuffled shims in my old cc forks (2009 XC), replaced seals and bushings. The only shock I've messed with though is servicing (oil change and N recharge) my old DRZ400 shock. I'll need to get a setup from RMATVMC for recharging the PDS shock. I had made up a needle to shrader for the cc forks, but not sure where that ended up.

I assume the Krooztune PDS bladder charges through a needle? I wonder for the cost of buying a needle/shrader, could I convert the shock to using a shrader?

I haven't seen that video but I would guess that it is the same procedure.
