I use stock bars and knock on wood.... but I have not bent a set of bars in over 10 years.

Just wondering...if it solidly locks you BB to the bar, would be bar be more prone to bend than with the wedge bolt?

Sunday I tried this off camber thing...combine seriously loose dirt and rider error and I slid off. Jammed my right bar end into the hillside to keep from sliding too far down...and the BB rotated a small amount.

Obviously it's not a problem for you guys...it just made me think.

FWIW I don't feel too bad about not making it; the 2 other guys in the group wouldn't try it.
Never bent a bar and had plenty of drops. bent BB's, but not bars.
