You don't need to spend $650-700 to get the improved power.
-Remove the reed from the intake (free)
-Remove the 2-layed mesh from the endcap, retaining the spark arrestor (free)
-Install an EFI tuner to increase the fueling as needed to avoid running lean ($240)

The result is an increase from 40hp stock to 54hp with these mods and nothing else, then go ride.

James is right the three mods he just told you about well mike more power then needed on both the 450 and 500-501, and two ball bearings to disable the smog and no more popping. Grand total 250.00 put the rest in suspension and tires

How much of an upgrade power wise is the 20 over the 19?

In order to leak oil from the water pump cover, it would have to be leaking antifreeze also. Actually oil would have to go through the seal into the impeller area, to even have a chance to leak, and it wouldn't be just oil, it would be milky.

Unless there is some case bolt that has broken through the case , into the oil area, and oil is traveling the screw threads.

so are you sure its oil?

That spot where the oil is, that tube, houses the counter balancer needle bearing, oil feeds through that tube, maybe a slight crack in the case?

However 58 horsepower out of a 501 is not unreasonable if it is tuned perfectly, and if you're running a completely derestrict exhaust and intake. 58 horsepower would require a better tuner than the three button dobeck controller he's offering. you would need something that could adjust ignition timing as well as fueling to make that kind of power.
You are being too nice. Dude is a snake and liar. Buy from JD.

wow, he was selling high comp piston and cams, but they weren't included in that video for $650 for 70 horse power claim, yeah agree with Travis on the Math issue.
