    The bushing clearance is enough to allow installation of the bendix to clear the flywheel, but it is a tight fit and you do need the jiggle the bendix/flywheel to and fro a little until the bendix installs into place. I'll be making an XRC bushing install video using my 2019 KTM 250 EXC TPI very soon. In the mean time this video of an install on my friend's 2017 300 EXC shows the bendix being installed at 15:00:

    Is the longer bushing just for the 2019+, or also 17, 18?

    See Tokyo Offroad's link. At the bottom of the link page he describes the bushings for the 17 and 18 engines.
