Thread: Aluminum Hitch rack- 72 in or 84?

  1. #1

Default Aluminum Hitch rack- 72 in or 84?

Planning to get a Tilt-a-rack from discount ramps. I will be using it for my dirtbikes only and not street bike.
Will a 72 in do? or do I need to get a 84 in?
    thanks in advance!

Wish I could tell you, I had the steel version but can't remember what the length was. If it had been AL I would still have it. Great rack, very easy to load and very secure.

84" is pretty dang wide, 72 should fit a bike perfectly. 84 would look really wide on anything other than a fullsize truck

I ordered the 84". Fortunately I do have a full size truck!

My Tilt a Rack was a 72. Fit perfectly behind a Tahoe. I think 84 may cause some clearance issues occasionally. Sorry I'm a little late.
