    Confirmed! My 2020 300 xc tpi will bump start with battery disconnected.

    BD I think you are spot on with your assessment. Reading much of the web youd think the bikes were a big let down unless you went and adjusted everything against what KTM said to do. I set mine up by the book as a starting point and think it is great. Suspension, power, ergos, etc all good. Even like the OEM AT81s. Im pretty sure Ill just add my standard protection parts and call it good.

    Yeah -- I agree. I understand the reluctance and the skepticism, but in the end, they make new bikes every day and someone has to buy them! Every bike I have ever owned was pretty good, but needed some sorting out. Suspension, jetting whatever. I suspect this one will be no different -- I sort of think it is a bit unreasonable to expect a perfect bike out of the crate -- not that most folks really expect that; but there are lots of people who are pretty risk averse. If it needs the idle screw, I'll do it. If it needs a revalve, I'll do it. If it needs a reflash, I'll do it. I hope it doesn't, but in the end I hold on to my bikes a bit and want them to work well. The closer they are to that from the crate the better. I think this one will be pretty close.

    I installed the Rekluse and some other goodies and will take it out for a bit more of a proper ride this weekend. So I will have more thoughts next week.

    Got my 2020 KTM 300 XC TPI yesterday. Today I checked the bike thoroughly: Installed the map switch, cleaned up some of the cable mess, set the suspension, charged the battery, adjusted all levers, checked the gear oil level, filled up gas and oil, did the heat cycles... Tomorrow I will go first light run.

    Have fun! Im at 55 hours and my 300 xc is a blast every ride!
