    Default 2019 150 carb swap?

Hello all. Got a TC 125 with 150 kit on it.

Long story short, got my butt handed to me with stock makuni carb on stock 125. After 125 hours, the carb took a dump, spent a lot of money on unnecessary parts. Did not have access to another carb to diagnose or omit the carb as my problem. Needless to say, my son now has a virtually new motor with all new electrical components.

We are going to buy a new keihin and I just want to make a seamless swap. Used for woods racing.

I'm guessing the PWK 38 Air Strike is an exact swap?

Can someone please confirm this. And is there a difference from whom I purchase? I know some buy from Links Racing and JD. Is there a difference? Any recommendations?

    Thanks guys.

It will swap but ideally you want the domino throttle and cable, it gives much lighter throttle action and you get the right fitment straight away. Iím running a 36 pwk on my 150. I love it. Been perfect since minute one.

My experience of Lectron on a small bore is bad. No offence LRM but I still think Keihin and the huge range of needle choices are superior, especially if you fit an RK head. Thatís unless you want clean but flat/linear delivery? Great for a novice but if you like it to grunt and go well the Leccy will stifle it.

Jeff Walker liked his Lectron on the CR125, another Pro named Jeff Crutcher seemed to like his as well on a 18 125SX, both 3 digit national MX riders... FWIW
as above so below as within so without

LRM, I appreciate the offer but I want to go simple and functional.

Still need to know if I should buy from the carb from JDJet, Links or whom. Do I need a plain PWK 38MM Air Striker.

I have confidence in JD, I bought a new carb from them for my 300 years back with good luck, however on my son's super mini, not so much. Just could not get the best performance from the jet kit, while his race duddy's bike (same bike / setup) ran flawlessly.

I need to get this ordered asap. Race in 2 weeks.

If anyone knows what model carb, jets, needles or best options for setting a keihin carb up for a 2019 150sx for enduro racing. Or whom is best to purchase from ready to go, please let me know.

    Thanks for your help.

A few of us run this or very close to it at sea level in the UK. 150 TEís and XCws.
    36mm pwk.
    42-45 pilot.
    N1EF needle in 3 or 4.
    178-185 main.

None of us have changed from this for ages.

Awesome, thank you! Thats what I was looking at.

If it was for my use, i'd go with the 36. But my son likes to do small moto and turn tracks for practice, so I think the 38 would be a better fit for him.

We are at 500 elevation and I think 1900 is the highest track we run at. The cab comes with a JD jet kit that is not installed?

Do most here prefer the JD jet kit over stock needle? 75 bucks for a needle is pricy. I bought one back when son was on 105 super minis. Ended up running a HH needle instead. Maybe it was me, just could not get it spot on for him in the woods.

Anyone care to share their pilot and main for a 2019 150sx. I bet JD would get me close if I ask when I purchase one tomorrow.

    Thanks guys.
