No fear - I have good docs that keep putting me back together. So far I haven't broken a collar bone, arm or wrist on a dirt bike in 50 years of riding. But I have made up for it in shoulders and knees! The recent cervical fusion was caused by a car accident in 1988 that finally caught up with me (guy rear-ended me).

So I bought both the Mobius and EVS braces. Only 2 weeks out of the cast so my riding has been minimal. EVS did an interesting addition to their brace. It has two different thickness of plates (foam rubber) that help limit how far you can bend your wrist back. Iím interested to see how it works. Looking forward to trying them both.

I have broke 7 wrists riding, always rode with the cast on, less downtime when they took it off because its so weak out of the cast. I use cloth strap on braces with the titanium stiffener removed, gives easily adjustable bracing, i like them.

I ended up keeping the Evs brace and returned the mobius. It was my right wrist so I was having issues using my throttle and front brake going from seated to standing. Had to regrip the throttle because of the limited movement. Still recovering, scaphoid fractures do take a very long time.

This is not about a brace, but to brace...yourself for future athritis in the thumb, scaphoid joint.

The wrist overall is doing pretty well. I raced a 2 hour H/S about a month ago and it went well. Rode 4 days in a row over Thanksgiving without any issue. Considering ive fractured this scaphoid before (40 years ago) its doing about as well as I can expect.
