Default Metzeler MC 360 mid hard review

Bought a set of Metzeler mc360ís for a 3 day ride Bullhead city AZ in December, Due to another riders issues we only rode about 50 miles one day and that was it they seamed ok but I was still setting up the suspension and never really had a good test. With all the Issues going on I didnít get to ride agin until June I spent 3 weeks at our cabin in the Sierras above 6500 feet the whole time and these tires worked very well on my FE501 even in soft stuff over tons of rocks, roots, bunches of 1Ē to 6Ē broken branches exc. for a hard surface tire they worked great all around So far with very little wear.

Ya me too the biggest surprise was after about 5min on the bike I realized that I never Reset the air pressure front or rear, I always put about 20lbs in them just before a ridding trip and set the pressure when there but a brain fart happened must be old age LOL. Even at 20 plus psi they didnít feel to bad a little harsh and skidish is all.

I ran nothing but metzelers on my 72 maico 250 also, for a long time I thought they were the best but like everything they faded away and I started using Dunlap and now days there are a number of good tires to chose from, for my dual sport these work well. Iím thinking of trying one of the fat front tires next have heard good things about them.

I used the MC360 mid soft as the base for my Grip Studded winter tire last season. Seems to have awesome rubber compound and good tread design, held the studs really well. I would think it would make a great enduro tire, I'd certainly try it if our local ride group didn't have such great success with the Mitas 754.
