    Tubeliss has helped quite a bit... a challenge in our area is you can't usually see more 50-60 ft up the trail since the woods are so tight.
    Winter will improve visibility when the trees drop their leaves.... Good tips all above.

    I've been running 90/90 front tire at 11 PSI and a 120 Tusk Recon at 7. It makes a nice improvement in absorbing rock hits and not deflecting.

    I got better in the rocks when I changed from tubes to mousse. I found myself running to much air pressure to avoid flats. Don't worry about flats anymore.

    +1....tubeliss and lower pressure makes a huge difference....much better in yesterdays hs....
