Default DLC wear on lower tube

What do you guys think of the wear on these dlc tubes? Iíve put around 200h on them and bought them second hand so have no idea how many hours would be on them all up.

Looks like you have worn down the coating to the point the base is showing thru.

Pretty normal. The DLC coat doesnít last forever. My old GG trials bike had a ton of hours on it and the DLC coating in the top of the stroke wore off both of the legs to the coating underneath (Ti-Ni, i think?). It never leaked or caused problems... The wear is more apparent because itís black I think.

Was going to swap them over for my stock chrome tubes. Surely it canít be good for performance if theyíve nearly worn through?

If there not Peeling or leaking then I would leave it.

I doubt you'll notice. Maybe you'll get a tiny bit more stiction with the DLC worn out..
