    So I think I'm seeing a bit of marking on the piston from one of the intake valves. Tried taking some better pictures that might show things a bit better:

    Guys sorry I believe I'm mixed things up in my prior post - looks like exhaust valves are proud and intake more or less flush. Best thing to send this out for new valves and perhaps new springs?

    Would be the best way to go.
    While your at it make sure the valve adjuster scews will thread completely in and out of the rocker arm. Find 50% of them have the threads stretched form overtightened jam nuts and will not adjust correctly with new valves.

    As Travis posted the stretched threads require cutting off the exposed ball end shaft just below the rocker when replacing a cupped adjuster using an air tool with a carbide disk in it then screw the remaining shaft up through the rocker.
