Default How to choose a replacement spark plug cap?

The cap on this JR50 I have got boogered up some how. I need to get a new one but the OEM ones are 2+ weeks out it seems.

How do you choose a replacement for the OEM? I know nothing about spark plug caps.

NGK's are usually marked with model and how many Ohms it is or the parts microfiche should have it listed. Then their is long, short, 90' degree angled and straight, my dealer had a box ful of them for $4 each about the same as RM or chapparel get for them.

It only says T-125 and TD on the cap.

I think I have a couple spares from other bikes. Maybe Ill just toss it on there and see what happens. The plug it calls for is a BPR5HS. So it should be the standard plug shape.

That's another thing there are wire type that connect directly to the top thread and some use a aluminum cap on the plug, the plugs for my Honda trail 90 don't come with the aluminum cap.

I found a old cap from my xr100. It seems to work fine - but its an elbow rather than a 90.. I may just run it until I can get an OEM replacement.

I looked up a 2006 Suzuki JR 50 and it was $21.80, I use NGK for under $4.

The auction site has NGK wires and caps for less than $8.00 a pair. If you want some excellent caps and wires Lowbrow Customs have kits for about $20 a pair.
