I installed a powerdynamo in my 550 and had no problems intalling or using it. I installed HPI ignition in my 96 ATK 406 and ended up having to make a new flywheel nut as the stator wouldn't fit over the stock flywheel nut. I have no idea how reliable they are as I've only put a half an hour tops on the bike since rebuilding the engine and installing the HPI ignition. I have a 1991 250 exc that still runs the original SEM ignition so even though a lot of people have had problems with the stock SEM ignition there are some who have not.
